Weekly review gives buyers a short window to check hourly work before payment is released. It keeps progress visible while helping creators get paid on a predictable schedule.

Quick summary

FRI

Work week closes

The buyer receives the weekly review.

SAT–SUN

Review window

Hours can be approved or disputed.

MON

Payment releases

Approved or undisputed payment releases automatically.

What happens on Friday

At the end of the work week, ReUp groups eligible hourly entries into one review. The buyer receives a notification with the creator, project, dates, notes, and weekly total.

What buyers can review

Open the contract and choose Review and pay on the week marked Ready for Review. Check the date, duration, work memo, files, and the total amount. Open the contract if you need broader context.

Approve or request changes

Approve the weekly total when everything looks right. If something is unclear, message the creator first. Use the dispute option only for specific logged hours that cannot be resolved together.

Automatic release on Monday

If the buyer takes no action during the review window, the payment is released automatically on Monday. ReUp sends reminders on Saturday and Sunday before release.

Good to know

You don't need to approve each entry individually. If everything looks right, approve the weekly total.

If a payment method fails

Update the payment method as soon as possible. Active contracts may be paused until the outstanding weekly payment succeeds.
