How chat works on ReUp and how to keep your conversations safe.

Chat is where buyers and creators talk through details, share offers, and keep a shared history of each contract or order.

Start a conversation

Choose Contact on a creator card, profile, or project page. Your conversations appear in Chat, with status tags like Offer received, Pending approval, and Offer accepted.

Contact actions

Open the menu in a conversation to see actions for that contact. Depending on whether you have an active contract, you can add or remove the contact, send an offer or proposal, give a bonus, view or edit the contract, or end it.

Schedule a meeting

In a conversation, choose Schedule a Meeting. Pick a date, check the timezone, and select a time slot. A meeting card appears in the chat for both of you.

Keep the chat inside ReUp

For your safety, keep all messages and contact details within ReUp. Sharing contact information before an active contract is against ReUp policies, and those messages are hidden from the recipient.
