End a contract

What ending a contract means and what you need to do first.

Ending a contract closes it permanently. No new milestones can be added after this.

Before you end

For hourly contracts, review and approve any pending hours first. For fixed-price contracts, make sure all milestones are completed.

End the contract

  1. Open the contract and choose End contract.

  2. Confirm.

  3. Leave a rating and an optional public review.
